Q. I’m not happy with the list price my Realtor is suggesting. How can I get a better price for my home?
A. If you want a better price, then sell a better home. Homes are like babies, everyone thinks theirs is the best and cutest. But in reality, there are some really ugly houses on the market. So if you want a better price, it can’t be ugly and it can’t be dated. In fact, it can’t be in need of much of anything other than a new owner. Buyers are willing to pay more for an upgraded , move in ready home, however your home must present well and not have any objections. If you feel your home passes this test, then discuss your reasons with your Realtor and come up with a price you both can agree on. Good luck.
