How’s the #Jax Market – Nov Re-Cap

Here’s the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors (NEFAR) Nov 2017 Real Estate Market re-cap: *

– 2,028 properties closed during the month up 0.4% over the same period in 2016

– Year to date sales are up 1.5% over the same period in 2016

– Average sales price increased to $254,947 up 14% over the same period in 2016

– 2,556 new listings were added during the month, up 6.9% over the same period in 2016

– 3.1 months of inventory now on hand, down 20% over the same period in 2016 which is well below the five to six months that is considered a balanced market

– Days on market (DOM) averaged 67 days, down 2.9% from the same period in 2016
