How’s The #Jax Housing Market – July Re-Cap

Here’s the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors (NEFAR) July 2017 Real Estate Market re-cap: *

– 2,451 properties closed during the month

– Year to date sales are up 1.8% over the same period in 2016

– Average sales price increased to $255,937 up 7% over the same period in 2016

– 3,190 new listings were added during the month, up 2.2% over the same period in 2016

– 3.4 months of inventory now on hand, down 24.4% over the same period in 2016 which is well below the five to six months that is considered a balanced market

– Days on market (DOM) averaged 67 days, down 4.3% from the same period in 2016
